Put a sword on his belt and a cloak over his shoulders, and send him out to escort the short people. Tell him he’s not allowed to ask, but he is allowed to carry a satchel and accept tips if they’re offered. Do it right, and he won’t be lacking for properly-earned loot at the end of the night. He can have his manliness and his candy too.
