Prophecy Watch: Ionic Ear Implantable Bluetooth Device
“And he requires everyone—small and great, rich and poor, free and slave—to be given a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark: the beast’s name or the number of his name.” (Revelation 13:16–17, HCSB)
I watched a Shark Tank rerun tonight. A particular episode (you can see for yourself below) which had a candidate pitch the idea of an “implantable” bluetooth earpiece device. The Sharks thought that the idea was too dangerous. They found it a bit creepy. They mentioned that this wouldn’t be feasible for another twenty years and that this guy was possibly ahead of his time. What is interesting about this episode and the idea is this: we have come to the point in technology where we can communicate with implantable devices. Implantable devices are not just for tracking people anymore. We are now able to use that form of secure transaction to communicate as well as buy and sell commerce. Once people are able to buy and sell using their head or hand (see “Prophecy Watch: Paying With Your Hand” ), we will be on the verge of fulfilling Bible prophecy.
The Bible says that the Sharks are right. Soon, there will be a demand for implantable devices of communication and commerce.
