Keep Me Dependent On You

You will keep the mind that is dependent on You

in perfect peace,

for it is trusting in You.

Isaiah 26:3 (HCSB)

Observation: God is in the business of keeping things. He keeps my salvation secure. He keeps the world spinning. He keeps gravity working. He keeps time rolling. He also keeps my mind in perfect peace.

Perfect peace means without stress. He keeps my mind focused on what He needs me to do. When I trust Him, He can keep me out of trouble of my own making. When I trust Him, He can keep my mind calm.

Application: This peaceful mind is dependent upon my trust. I have to let go and let God take care of many things. I have to let God have control of the little things so that my mind is at ease.

Prayer: God, I want to stay dependent on You. I want that perfect peace that comes from letting You handle things out of my control. Please me trust You more.
