There’s an inside joke among writers that if you want to get a book contract in today’s market you need to write a book about an Amish Vampire.

Now I’m wondering if maybe it’s not a joke.

Y’all have probably heard this a year ago but I heard it for the first time today.

What can I say? I live in rural Oregon, which is akin to living in an Amish paradise.
