God’s Not Dead 2

God’s Not Dead 2 February 22, 2016

I am involved with Pure Flix. It is the world’s largest distributor of faith-based films. The company was started in 2006 by Russell Wolfe, R. H. White, and Michael Cooper. Country singer and actor Randy Travis and his wife were significant, early investors in the company. Pure Flix also produces their own low-budget films now, about one per month.

Pure Flix is becoming successful. They released God’s Not Dead almost two years ago. The budget for it was about $2 million, and in less than four months the film grossed $65 million.

I’ve never been a big fan of Christian films. But then, I’m not a real avid moviegoer, anyway. I’ve been like a lot of people in that I didn’t think Christian films were of very good quality. But that has been changing. Some Christian films being produced now are pretty good. I think God’s Not Dead is one of them.

God’s Not Dead 2 will be released next Monday, March 1st. I saw a previewing of it a few weeks ago. I then emailed my friend and COO of Pure Flix, Steve Fedyski, saying, “2 is better than 1. It’s in the Bible :).” I was being kind of silly by referring to Ecclesiastes 4.9: “Two are better than one.” Yet I did mean that I thought this second film is better than the first one.

So, I recommend yall go see God’s Not Dead 2.
