Ford 100% VS. Juge Kavanaugh 0% 2018-10-01T09:10:56-07:00

Dr. Ford,  a professor and psychology researcher, accused Judge Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct when she 15 years old and he 17, in which she thought he was going to rape her. The judge denied all of it.

As an independent voter, that’s my assessment of the Senate Judiciary hearing yesterday: Dr. Ford was quite believable in her testimony, and Judge Kavanaugh was not. The Judge, being Republican, appeared quite politically partisan. He blamed the Clintons for getting “revenge” with this “smear campaign” against him, which hd was a “disgrace.” That sounded like he was tutored by President Trump, and it was reported that Kavanaugh spent much time at the White House

Some Republicans, especially Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell had been boasting that they would get the judge confirmed on the U.S. Supreme Court. But at the last hour, our Arizona Senator Jeff Flake, who was the swing vote, announced to Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, a Republican, that he, Flake, would only vote to confirm the judge if there was a “delay” in moving the confirmation to the Senate floor for a final vote there by all the senators if there was a one week FBI investigation, which many Democrat members of the Committee had been calling for. By then, Flake had enlisted some Republicans for this request. Grassley then put it to a vote in the Committee, and it passed.

President Trump has the final say on that. He was then asked about it and said he would go along with what the Committee decided.
