Napolitano Says Trump Has Obstructed Justice Many Times

Napolitano Says Trump Has Obstructed Justice Many Times April 25, 2019

The American public has become divided politically perhaps like never before. Three television news networks have contributed to this polarization immensely: CNN and MSNBC News have been critical of President Donald Trump, and Fox News has been extremely supportive of President Trump.

With all of the troubles that President Trump has been undergoing regarding the special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, and now Mueller’s report presenting a devastating portrayal of Trump’s actions regarding possible obstruction of justice, some television viewers of CNN and MSNBC News have been wondering if any of the leading political voices over at Fox News would turn on Trump to also become his critic.

It has happened before. Retired Colonel Ralph Peters was the leading analyst for military affairs at Fox News. In March last year, Peters resigned from Fox News, calling it “a propaganda machine.” He further accused the network of “wittingly harming our system of government for profit.” That was really strong criticism. Since then and to this time, “Colonel Ralph Peters,” as he was always characterized by Fox News, has appeared multiple times on other news networks to elaborate on these accusations. And he has repeatedly and strongly criticized Trump as president.

I used to watch Fox News just as much as I watched CNN’s new coverage. But I became disgusted with some Fox News commentators, especially Sean Hannity, who I once met. So, in recent years I have watched Fox News only a little bit. When I heard Colonel Peters describe Fox News as “a propaganda machine,” that really said it for me.

Well, it has happened again at Fox News. Andrew Peter Napolitano has been the leading legal analyst on Fox News for several years. I always liked to see and hear his commentary. Napolitano graduated from Princeton University and Notre Dame Law School. He taught law in the early 1980s. Then he served as a judge on the New Jersey Superior Court, from 1987 to 1995. He has been working for Fox News since 2006. Napolitano is now the author of nine books on law and politics.

Very recently, in Napolitano’s remarks on Fox News, he turned critical of President Trump. And when the redacted Mueller report was made available to Congress and the public days ago, Judge Napolitano, as he is called on Fox News, further turned up the heat on Trump. Tonight, on CNN, Napolitano laid out several specific facts about President Trump’s behavior according to the Mueller report which Napolitano said firmly are obstruction of justice according to law. Now, Napolitano is no longer providing his expertise on Fox News.

President Donald Trump is in deep trouble regarding the breaking of the laws of the United States of America. He is still trying hard to circumvent them with actions that some legal experts say are more obstruction of justice. But I doubt that he will succeed.
