Dr. James Tabor Recommends My Book “The Restitution”

Dr. James Tabor is a biblical scholar, a Professor of Ancient Judaism and Early Christianity in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I’ve been a friend Dr. Tabor for over forty years. He often is interviewed on major television networks for his expertise. James has written about ten books and fifty journal articles. He is also an archaeologist in the Holy Land. His colleague at UNC at Charlotte is Dr. Bart Ehrman, who is perhaps the most prominent historian of Christian Origins. Dr. Tabor also is known for his involvement in the 1993 Branch Davidian debacle in Waco, Texas, in which the FBI had James talk at length on a private phone to David Koresh to talk to him about the Bible and try to convince him to surrender.

Dr. Tabor spoke yesterday in an hour+ video interview on the YouTube Channel “Theology Blogging.” He spoke on the subject, “Did Jesus Ever Claim To Be God in Our Earliest Sources?” Midway through his interview, James twice mentioned my book, The Restitution: Biblical Proof Jesus Is Not God, recommending it to viewers.  Here is that video:
