Roy Cohn Helped Make Donald Trump the Man He Became

Roy Cohn Helped Make Donald Trump the Man He Became September 12, 2024

Who Was Roy Cohn?

Roy Cohn was a New York City lawyer who worked for both the Mafia and Donald Trump. He contributed much to making Donald Trump the man he became. Trump has ever since praised Cohn as the best lawyer. After Cohn’s death, Trump made famous in New York the saying, “Where’s my Roy Cohn?”

I believe Donald Trump will make another of his own sayings well known since Cohn died, “No good lawyers.” That’s because Cohn caused Trump to become the most litigious American, and that’s what he says when he loses his lawsuits.

Roy Cohn in “The Apprentice” Film

Roy Cohn is a prominent figure in the film about-to-be-released entitled “The Apprentice.” This title, of course, signifies the TV series of that name, which featured Donald Trump as businessman, that made Donald Trump a household name.

The film is about the life of Donald Trump. It was previewed at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. Experts are saying it is an Oscar contender. The film was previewed more recently at the Toronto International Film Festival. Sebastian Stan plays Trump in the film. And Emmy-winner Jeremy Strong plays Cohn.

This Film Could Affect the Presidential Election

The film is scheduled to be released in theaters soon, and there is much anticipation about it due to former U.S. president Donald Trump currently campaigning for the presidency again, with the upcoming election being on November 5th. This film could have some effect on the election.

I tell about Roy Cohn’s influence on Donald Trump in my book, Bible Predicts Trump Fall. Cohn was an only Jewish child who became a prominent New York City lawyer. He first gained fame as the chief aid to Republican Senator Joseph McCarthy of Wisconsin, who conducted an anti-Communist crusade that included televised Senate hearings that tried to expose elite Americans as Communists. Single man and alcoholic McCarthy was soon deemed a sham and died alone four years later of hepatitis in national disgrace. Cohn worked for people like that and Mafia leader John Gotti of the Gambino family.

Cohn and Was Trump’s Tutor for Fifteen Years

Donald Trump met Roy Cohn at the famous nightclub Studio 54. Here’s what I say in my book happened at that moment (p. 12), “Donald immediately told him, ‘The government has just filed suit against our company, saying that we discriminated against blacks…. What do you think I should do?’ Cohn said, ‘Tell them to go to hell and fight the thing in court and let them prove you discriminated.’ For that, Cohn became the Trumps’ lawyer and Donald’s tutor for the next fifteen years. Roy taught Donald to fight City Hall through the courts to get whatever he wanted as a real estate developer. Cohn instilled in Donald a tenacious spirit to never give up, never regret, and never admit defeat.” This is why Donald Trump claims the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. That behavior was instilled in him by Roy Cohn.

Roy Cohn’s Outrageous Legal Principles

The film supposedly has Roy Cohn saying, “The first rule is: attack, attack, attack. Rule two: Admit nothing, deny everything. Rule Three: No matter what happens, you claim victory and never admit defeat.” Cohn later says in the film, “You have to be will to do anything to anyone to win.” All of these principles are the stark opposite of the teachings of Jesus, and I repeatedly show this in my book.

The Beast‘s film critic Nick Schager wrote of Trump in the film, that it “lays out the gory details regarding the source of his egomania, greed, ambition, vanity, sociopathy, and heartless rapeyness.” The word rapey means sexual aggressiveness that causes fear.
