Trump Says China Exports Are “Ripping Us Off”
Donald Trump, while president and ever since, has kept on harping about China “ripping us off,” meaning China-made goods exported to the U.S. His remedy for it was to impose large tariffs on this China trading to try to discourage U.S. citizens from buying China-made products. And along with this strategy, Trump tried to discourage U.S. companies from having their products made in China.
Donald Trump now asserts that, if he regains the White House in this upcoming election, he will slap China with a whopping 60% tariff on many of its exported products to the U.S.
Trump’s Ripping Us Off with China-Made Bibles
Now we learn that Trump, the hawkish entrepreneur, has his “God Bless the USA” Bibles made in China. Of course, the purpose for doing so is to save on printing costs. But “God Bless the USA” Bibles made in atheistic, communist China? And will a future President Trump levy that 60% tariff on his China-made Bibles sold here?
Trump sells this Bible for $59.99. But he has special sales in which he sells a signed copy for $1,000. And he also has a “The Day God Intervened” edition which refers to his near assassination weeks ago in an outdoor political rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
So, when it comes to other Americans, Trump says don’t buy goods made in China or have American goods made in China, but for Trump himself its okay to do so. That, folks, is called hypocrisy. And interestingly, the main man in the Bible that Trump hawks, Jesus of Nazareth, spent much of his preaching exposing hypocrisy. I guess all of this exposes Donald Trump as a classic hypocrite making and selling Bibles no less.
