Voters Express their Disapproval of Trump

Millions of people gathered in 3,300 cities in 15 nations today to demonstrate against U.S. President Donald Trump and his administration in what they call “No Kings” Day. It is the third such grassroots, one-day demonstration in nine months against Trump’s second U.S. presidency, which began over 14 months ago.

The first No Kings Day was last July, and the second was last October in which 7 million people reportedly gathered. There has never been precedent of this in American history except the demonstrations against the Viet Nam War during the 1960s. This No Kings Day is expected to top previous records of attendance.

Demonstrators Believe Trump Acts Like a King

People are demonstrating against Trump as president because he advocates an unprecedented authoritarianism in his governing style which seems to reveal that he does not believe in America’s form of democracy. That is why people are comparing him to a king. Such rule is anathema to many Americans by comparing Trump to a king who is not much responsible for his governance to citizens, thus calling it “No Kings” Day.

The American Colonists’ 27 written grievances against King George III are listed in their Declaration of Independence of 1776. They are pointed and striking, showing the heart-felt emotions of those early Americans who were responsible for creating the United States of America, which has been the greatest nation on earth for a long time.

The Twin Cities gathering in Minnesota is billed as the highlight of the demonstrations. It is largely because ICE killed two innocent citizens there last summer and due to past Minnesota grievances against Trump and his form of politics. Iconic crooner Bruce Springsteen will be performing there today. One demonstrator, a 37-year-old woman, brought her 14-month-old daughter and carried a protest sign that read, “It’s so bad the introverts are out here.”

Trump Acts Like He’s Never Read the Good Book

These demonstrations seem to confirm my blogging with hundreds of posts against the first Trump administration, in 2017 to 2021. I then collected many of them and made a book of them and more entitled Bible Predicts Trump Fall. I often compared what Trump said to the Bible’s wisdom literature, including sayings of Jesus, showing the striking contrast between the two.

Did you know that the fortune that Donald Trump inherited was based largely on his grandfather’s three restaurant-brothels in my home state of Washington and in Alaska? When faced with being drafted into the German military as a young man, Fredrich/Frederick Trump (1869-1918; he changed his first name) avoided it by departing to Washington state (where I was born and raised) in 1885 to try to make a fortune off the gold rush of the 1890s. One author says he didn’t take up mining, even when he went to Alaska; instead, he “mined the miners.” His first restaurant-bar and brothel, named Poodle Dog, was located in downtown Seattle, eight city blocks from my dad’s first restaurant, though fifty years later. (I come from a restaurant family and grew up working in this business.)

The Trump Name Used to Be “Drumpf”

And did you know the Trump name used to be Drumpf? Someone changed it just before Donald Trump’s grandfather Frederick. And did you know that Donald and his father Fred never talked about that Frederick Trump either in public or within the family? Trump’s niece Mary L. Trump (author of Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man), says it is because he died instantly of the Spanish Flu in 1918. That retisense seems to reflect on Donald’s penchant for calling his supposed enemies “weak.”

Donald’s Father Had “Christ” in His Name

And did you know that Donald Trump’s father had the word “Christ” in his name? It was Frederick Christ Trump Sr. (1905-1999). He made a fortune in the real estate business in Queens, New York. Donald inherited his business and moved it into New York City on Manhattan Island.

All such information about the Trump family and more is in my Trump book. The Kirkus Review of it concludes, “A persuasive, well-argued case against Trump by a prominent evangelical.
