For years, Tucker Carlson was practically the face of Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News that helped more than any other source thrust the brash and braggart, New York real estate developing tycoon, Donald Trump into the America’s power center—the White House. And now, Mr. Carlson, who has been ejected from Fox News, is apologizing for it.
Tucker Carlson Apologizes
Donald Trump and Tucker Carlson used to be good friends, but not any more. Monday, on “The Tucker Carlson Show” on TV, Tucker said to his brother, Bruckley Carlson, about Donald Trump, “I mean, you and I and everyone else who supported him, you wrote speeches for him, I campaigned for him, I mean, we’re implicated in this for sure. It’s not enough to say, ‘Well, I changed my mind.’ Or like, ‘Oh, this is bad. I’m out.'”
The still prominent media personality continued, “It’s like, in very small ways but in meaningful ways, you and me and millions of people like us are the reason this is happening right now,” meaning Trump is president. “So, I do think it’s a moment to wrestle with our own consciences. You know, we’ll be tormented by it for a long time. I will be, and I want to say I’m sorry for misleading people. It was not intentional.”
Some MAGA Exs Are Talking 25th Amendment
Carlson added, “The 25th amendment is there for a reason. It’s not crazy to talk about it in this context. If our country is suffering great and lasting damage, which it seems to be, then sober minds need to come in and exercise what power they have for the benefit of all of us.”
The 25th amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides for the president’s cabinet to declare unanimously that the nation’s Commander-in-Chief is not capable of exercising the duties of the president and therefore must be removed from office, with the Vice President then taking his place.
The Donald: “No More Wars”
This is now Donald Trump’s second presidential term. He campaigned for it by clearly stating that he would not get America into a war. Of course, Trump argues that his sole decision to invade Iran and destroy the place, killing thousand of Iranians since February 28, is a “military operation” and thus not a war. I wonder where he got that idea? Was it from his buddy over there in “Russia, Russia, Russia”?
Well, Tucker Carlson is not the only MAGA kingpin who is rushing for the exits out of Donaldland. Marjorie Taylor Greene is perhaps the most prominent voice doing so. Both are professing Christians who now feel regret for what they have done. Tucker and Marjorie were at the forefront of the stampeding MAGA Republicans (Make America Great Again) that took over the nation’s capitol. It resulted in Trump not making “America First” but doing the exact opposite—making America odious to a large majority of the world who follow political and international events.
Both Carlson and Greene have been quite vocal about being against Trump’s war in Iran. And Trump lately has said, as we would expect, that Tucker Carlson is a “low IQ person” and a “nut job.” BTW, Trump is always bragging that he has a high IQ and accuses his enemies of low IQs; yet he never takes real psyche tests and tells the results.
Trump Affirms My Book
Trump is ruining the U.S. reputation in many ways. It affirms, I’m sorry to say, that my book is right about him. It’s entitled Bible Predicts Trump Fall. Check it out at amazon.com.
