The current Israel-Gaza War reveals the necessity of a continuing peace process with the goal of the establishment of a Palestinian state. There is no other way this 70-year old Israeli-Palestinian conflict will ever reach any conceivable goal of being resolved. There must be two states lying side-by-side. China responded to a US delegation of six, bipartisan senators visiting China and led by Chuck Schumer concerning the recent war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip by saying of it, “China is a common friend of Israel and Palestine.” Spokesperson Mao Ning continued, “We sincerely hope to see Palestine and Israel co-existing peacefully and sharing security and development.” He means there needs to be two states as a solution to this conflict. It may seem like “old hat,” but Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip are at war again. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared “war” today on Hamas. Researchers are turning up more and more evidence to support the allegation that the British monarchy was involved in the colonial slave trade more than formerly thought. Europe just won the Ryder Cup by absolutely trouncing the USA. The final score apparently will be 16 to 11. The US got off to such a miserable start in these biennial and historic, three-day matches. By the second day, yesterday in early afternoon, the score was Europe 8.5 points to USA 1.5 points. After two days of the Ryder Cup, with tomorrow’s final round to go, the score stands at Europe 10.5 points and the US at 5.5 points.
