We all know two heads are better than one, but I like to think that three heads together make a fantastic blogging team, especially when it comes to serving a very under-served community, divorced Catholics. That is why I am thrilled to announce A Million Unheard Souls is welcoming two new bloggers whose writing will bring new insights and pearls of hard-earned wisdom regarding life after divorce from a Catholic perspective.

Amanda Rose

Amanda Rose, is a Catholic convert, mom to three, and divorced blogger who knows how it feels when your world falls apart. Her family experienced the devastation of divorce in 2009. Now it’s 2016 and she has two young adults on their own, and one sweet teenager left at home. She writes with the motivation to encourage you in faith and hope and help you feel a bit less alone.

From her blog at DivorcedCatholicMoms.Com:

God is good even when life feels bad – I believe that with all my heart and hope you can, too. I believe and profess everything the Catholic Church believes, professes and teaches. While I’m not responsible for the content of comments, everything posted by authors is intended to be in conformity to the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church. If there are any errors, I beg to be corrected in charity.

She also blogs about her stumblings along St. Therese’s little way of spiritual childhood at www.littlestepsalongtheway.com.

Paige Mitts

From our very first phone call, I was impressed with Paige. She is a woman with one of the biggest hearts imaginable, and a perseverance that is truly inspirational. I had the great pleasure of meeting Paige at a conference last year and was able to see first-hand what a selfless woman she is.

Paige survived a devastating divorce and is mother two children and two dogs while devoting time to serving others. She is the Fifth District Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks and a supporter of Camp Twin Lakes. She serves as Leader of the Journey of Hope Ministry at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and as a parent volunteer for Cumberland Academy of Georgia and Holy Spirit Preparatory School.

I know you will gain many valuable insights from Paige’s articles, and certainly a renewed appreciation for single parents who are raising great kids, despite the challenges they face due to divorce.

Both Amanda’s and Paige’s desire to comfort others in their suffering and encourage them in rebuilding is a wonderful illustration of what Pope Francis has called us all to do; to be workers on the battlefield, bringing the wounded home to the field hospital that is the Church.

I am inspired, encouraged, and grateful to be joined by these women and I hope you receive the consolation, inspiration and encouragement you seek through reading their articles. Please join me in welcoming them!
