Founded in 1860, the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia in Nashville, Tennessee, live a contemplative-apostolic life of community, study, and service—teaching students and serving families in the United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, Scotland, and the Netherlands. They joyfully embrace the Church’s call to the new evangelization. Sister Jane Dominic Laurel, O.P., is a Nashville Dominican. Born in St. Louis, MO, and raised in California and Texas, she holds a Doctorate in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Rome, Italy) and currently serves as Assistant Professor of Theology at Aquinas College in Nashville.

Reverend Monsignor J. Brian Bransfield is a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, ordained in 1994.Msgr. Bransfield earned a doctorate in moral theology from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family and serves as the Associate General Secretary of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in Washington, D.C.Prior to his service at the USCCB, he served in parish ministry, and as a high-school faculty member. He also served as a Professor of Moral Theology on the faculty of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia.Msgr. Bransfield is adjunct professor of moral theology on the Pontifical Theological Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C.His articles have appeared in America Magazine, Our Sunday Visitor Newsweekly and Catechetical Leader. He is the author of The Human Person: According to John Paul II (June 2010); Living the Beatitudes: A Journey to Life in Christ (October 2011); Overcoming Pornography Addiction: A Spiritual Solution (Paulist, 2013); Meeting Jesus Christ: Meditations on the Word (Pauline 2013); and Everlasting: The Mystery and the Promise (Pauline, 2015).
