Bruce Cockburn, one of my favorite songwriters and guitarists, is writing his memoir!

Canadian rock ‘n’ roll giant Bruce Cockburn will give fans a close look at his four decades of music making in a memoir to be published by HarperCollins Canada in April 2012.

HarperCollins executive editor Jim Gifford bought the book from Cockburn’s long-time manager, Bernie Finkelstein, on the premise that “his work is as relevant today as it was when he first started performing.”
