Which democratic socialist would seriously claim that the “right-wing ideology” of Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker would cause thousands to die? Why Communist Party loyalist Bernie Sanders, that’s who.

How is that even possible? Well, according to Sanders, it’s because Walker is refusing federal dollars under Obamacare to expand insurance coverage in his state. At a rally last week in Madison, Sanders warned of the impending doom on its citizens:

“Gov. Walker has allowed his right-wing ideology to prevail and to deny some 120,000 people in Wisconsin options to get into Medicaid and maybe, for the first time in their lives, have health insurance.

“As a result of that decision, there is no question that people will die, people will become much sicker than they otherwise would have become.”

Really? A Republican governor’s attempt at preventing government overreach will be the death of Wisconites? It only gets more ridiculous when you consider the source of such nonsense.

Sanders has made no bones about his admiration of communist regimes, including the murderous and violent Fidel Castro and the Soviet-aligned Sandinistas in Nicaragua. In footage from 1985 that has recently surfaced, the Vermont senator praised the free health care “offered” by the Nicaraguan government while conveniently ignoring the human rights atrocities carried out by that same government on its people. He even admired the long lines of starving people across the country who waited for a piece of bread:

“You know, it’s funny, American journalists sometimes talk about how bad a country is because people are lining up for food. That’s a good thing! In other countries, people don’t line up for food. The rich get the food and the poor starve to death.”

Yeah, sounds like a real utopia, Bernie. Forgive me if I’m a little skeptical of your assessment of the dangers of Gov. Walker’s ideologies.
