CNN Just Called 63 Million Americans ‘White Supremacists By Default’ and They’re Standing By It August 25, 2017

On Wednesday, CNN called all supporters of President Donald Trump “white supremacists by default.” Yes, you read that correctly.  Here’s a portion of the report:

“It’s easy to focus on the angry white men in paramilitary gear who looked like they were mobilizing for a race war in the Virginia college town, but it’s the ordinary people — the voters who elected a reality TV star with a record of making racially insensitive comments, the people who move out of the neighborhood when people of color move in, the family members who ignore a relative’s anti-Semitism — who give these type of men room to operate.”

Okay…  So, apparently the person who put this CNN piece together has never taken a class in logic.  They were apparently duped by  “activists, historians and victims of extremism,” who decided it was perfectly acceptable to make this sweeping, inaccurate generalization. Fordham University professor and political activist Mark Naison, was one of the main “experts” upon whom they relied.  “You have to have millions of people who are willing to be bystanders, who push aside evidence of racism, Islamophobia or sexism. You can’t have one without the other,” he told CNN.  “We are a country with a few million passionate white supremacists — and tens of millions of white supremacists by default.”

According to the Daily Caller, the CNN piece divided all of those racist Trump supporters into 4 easy to understand categories.  Go ahead. Find out what type of racist YOU are:

 1. One such category is labeled the “down low segregationists,” who according to “Naison and others,” claim to be against segregation but actively segregate themselves by moving when their neighborhood becomes diverse.

2.  Then there is the “yes, but” group who acknowledge that racism is a problem but add a qualifier to the concession “to diminish the sincerity of what [they] just said.” The report then suggests moral equivalency between modern critics of the Black Lives Matter movement and the moderates identified in Rev. Martin Luther King’s “Letter From Birmingham Jail” as the central obstacle to desegregation.

3.  Next come “those who choose chaos” who voted for Trump primarily for the entertainment value but now condemn his actions, including his response to the violence in Charlottesville.

4.  Finally comes “those who look the other way,” a label that applies to Trump voters who “don’t speak up” in opposition to hateful ideology.

If you’re like me — and most Trump supporters — you know this is all a load of ad hominem attacks.  If CNN is trying to shed the label, “fake news,” they need to try harder.

“Once the demons are unleashed, you’ve become a co-conspirator,” said Naison.  Isn’t it funny how liberal professors are so loathe to bring up religion and spiritual elements, unless they’re trying to scare or shame someone?  I have an idea.  What about not ever interviewing another one of these leftwing Democratic fascists on television ever again, unless it’s to point out their radical, anti-American agenda?

I actually don’t mind it.  By now, most Americans just don’t listen to these media reports.  I hope they keep doing this sort of thing…  because we know how well it’s worked for Hillary Clinton and the Democrats to call us all racists, homophobes, Islamophobes and a “basket of deplorables” so far.
