Ya gotta love this…no really…ya just gotta. Recently, a New York Daily News reporter shot an AR-15 and wrote an article to tell his fellow New Yorkers just exactly what it was like.
“It felt to me like a bazooka — and sounded like a cannon,” Gersh Kuntzman began. It went downhill from there. “Mostly, I was just terrified.”
He went on to say, “The recoil bruised my shoulder, which can happen if you don’t know what you’re doing. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary form of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.”
And we’re supposed to trust reporters to give us our news? Jeff Lacroix did a video showing a 14 year old girl shooting an AR15… and she managed just fine.
I can imagine my own daughter doing this… and making fun of a snowflake who was traumatized by shooting an AR-15.
The funny thing about an AR-15 — one of the reasons they are so popular — is they are so easy to shoot. They have virtually no recoil and are a great first shoot for almost anyone.
Anyone except for a whiny, easily terrified, easily confused reporter. God forbid this man should ever have to defend himself or his family from anything.
