Catholic and Enjoying It!
The most amazing part of this story, to me, is not that some board of officious idiots punished the foster mum for her Muslim ward’s conversion to Christianity.
The most amazing part is:
‘I did initially try to discourage her. I offered her alternatives.
‘I offered to find places for her to practise her own religion. I offered to take her to friends and family.
‘But she said to me from the word go, ‘I am interested and I want to come.’ She sort of burst in.’
In short, mere timidity and spinelessness was not enough for the board. Her job was to make damn *sure* the girl did not convert. And because she did anyway, her foster mum is to be punished for being insufficiently draconian.
God bless and protect that poor girl as she searches for Jesus Christ in the spiritual wasteland that is the UK.
C’mon English Christians! Are you men or mice? Stop letting these clowns push you around!
