If not, this will refresh your memory.
Anyway, here’s the latest, and very cheery, report:
Don’t be alarmed!! We know many of you may be wondering “Why are they e-mailing us about JP? Is there a problem?” The good news is…we are e-mailing you with good news.
We brought JP to the cardiologist Friday for a periodic check-up. The last time she had seen JP was in early November and his heart function, measurements, and the echocardiogram images all looked good. So we were a little anxious about Friday. JP has been growing (he is now 20+ pounds), developing a personality (loves to smile and has a heck of a gut laugh), eating like a champ, and in so many respects is a nicely developing little boy. But you never know what the echocardiogram will show…
Well, it turned out great!! Function is still good and his valve gradient has not increased since November. So, our cardiologist (barring any problems) does not need to see him again until May. We are relieved and so thankful for all the wonderful things that are happening for him.
Hard to believe JP’s first birthday is only 17 days away!! Time flies…
Now, if we could only get him to sleep at night!
Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus Christ!
By the way, Baby Jack, who is a preemie, still needs your prayers. And if you could toss in one for our grandchild, Morton the Sea Monkey, and his parents as they struggle with the normal stuff about finances, work and school that young marrieds struggle with, we’d appreciate it.
