It’s a Wrap!

It’s a Wrap! March 27, 2009

Principal photography for Manalive wrapped at 11:30 PM last night in the home of a very patient local Savannah woman who kindly lent us her house for Innocent Smith’s great burglary caper. The scene was, for me, the funniest part of the shoot and we spent a lot of time laughing as we shot it. Henry Bazemore, Jr. was my partner in crime and did a great job as an increasingly panicked and bewildered man of the cloth.

We have a few bits to shoot here and in Washington (none with dialogue) in order to create a little montage that will round out the film, but basically we were done as of last night. Sunday, I go out to Macon to hang with Steve Dillard for the day and go to Mass, then back to Savannah, packing and jet home Monday morning.

Thanks for your patience during the shoot. I will try to bring the blog back up to speed as soon as I can. I am informed by one reader that I am on George Soros’ payroll and I hear he is a hard taskmaster, so I better hit the ground running when I return. Till then, ciao as we in the film community say.

MMMMMMMWAAAHHHH! Later, dahlinks!
