Drudge is all hopped up about a new fossil that shows, well, that David Attenborough has a new TV special coming out! Oh, it also shows that humans are related to primates (like we didn’t already know that) and that some 19th Century Anglical cleric said something dumb, so we can all revel in our tremendous superiority to Christians who are all fundamentalist idiots afraid of science.
Mostly it demonstrates “Watch that TV special! Really! Watch it! And patronize our sponsors!”
This is what people call “science education” these days.
