The other night on the Cover to Cover program on Catholic Radio International, three smart and interesting young(ish) Catholic writers-Matt Lickona (Swimming with Scapulars, Loyola,) Katy Carl (editor-in-chief of Dappled Things (is she really only 25? My God)), and Joseph O’Brien (poet and voice of Cover to Cover)-discussed not just the book and the controversy surrounding it, but the state of contemporary Catholic literature. Very interesting.
