The sanctity of life argument is dead; and abortion foes who continue to spout that pious nonsense will have to become vegans who only eat plant products that do not damage in any way the parent plant. If life is truly sacred, eating any plant or animal would be counter to god’s will, an idea no more absurd than claiming that eliminating an undifferentiated ball of cells is murder.
One of the effects of sin is that your hatred of light makes you close your eyes to the fact that you are saying any dumb crap that comes to hand to justify your position. You don’t bother finding out what people you despise actually think because, hey!, you despise them! How could *they* have anything sensible to say. So you wind up not evening know what, say, “sanctity of life” refers to. Result: you and your friends in the Bubble are slapping yourself on the back over stupid “rebuttal” to things nobody believes. “Ha! Good one! Prolifers should only eat plant products that do not damage in any way the parent plant! *Now* you’ve got them wriggling in the crushing grip of logic!”
