Thanks from a reader to all you Faithful Prayer Warriors

He writes:

I just wanted to let you know how my granny’s doing since you both were kind enough to ask your vast legions of readers to pray for her. She’s doing very well, progressing in her chemo treatments. Dad, Mom, Uncle Mark, Aunt Lisa and I all took her out to the golf course a few weeks ago. She rode around in the cart with Mom until it started raining. Then they went up to the club house and hung out until the rain stopped and they re-joined us on the cart path. She was full of vim and vigor and looked very spry and youthful for her 80-something-year-old self. She still goes out and parties with the youngsters most nights and hits the nickel slots on the reservation across Lake Texoma from her whenever she can. In sum, she’s her old self most of the time. So, our prayers are being answered, but more would always be appreciated. She’ll be undergoing chemo for at least 20 more months, so we’re not totally out of the woods yet. Thanks a bunch!

Thanks be to God through our Lord Jesus. God willing, she’ll be eating those dang quesedillas for years to come. (Sorry, I watched Napoleon Dynamite with my hitherto culturally deprived younger boys the other night and it’s still affecting me.)
