For the non-Seattleite, Ballard is our Scandahoovian section of town. To us Seattleites, this is epic humor. Perhaps now you can understand my I am tin-horn dictator with delusions of godhood bent on world domination.
Stan Boreson, by the way, is a Local Institution. One absolutely sure and certain shibboleth for determining whether or not a person of my age is lying when they say they were born and raised in western Washington is to ask them to sing the theme to the Stan Boreson show. If they can’t, treat them as you would the publican and the sinner.
