His response to Sr. Maureen Fiedler’s encomium to Ted Kennedy get slammed by America magazine. Golly! “Boor,” “loudmouth,” “ignorant of history,” “callous,” “inhumane,” “indecent,” and “hateful”. Pat clearly needs to learn more about respectful dialogue from the Jesuit paladins of civility who gave us Robert Drinan and the staunch support of the Most Holy Sacrament of Abortion that is the sole core value of the party Ted Kennedy is so hugely responsible for creating. So gauche of him to note that fact.
