The Crazy Right

There’s something about being out of power that seems to make political types in our country just go barking mad. We saw it with the 9/11 truthers and now we’re seeing it with the wingnuts who, when they aren’t obsessing over Obama’s birth certificate are raving about concentration camps and guillotines being set up all over America.

Make not mistake, I think it quite possible that our nation is capable of going insane. We are not immune from the Fall and we are certainly filled with enough contempt for the human person that, under the right circumstance we would be as capable of mass slaughter as we were in 1861-65. But does anybody seriously believe that, as we speak, the Obama Administration is planning a coup in which millions of Americans will be slaughtered for organ harvesting?

I think it’s the same nuttiness that afflicted the Dem wingnuts when they were out of power. Crazy people saying crazy crap to other crazies because they just can’t take losing. Hopefully, they are a small and impotent minority, like the Truther Kooks.
