I was in Savannah this past weekend staying in a B & B called Galloway House, and much to my delight saw your face on a framed poster for Manalive hanging in the hallway! Maybe you or some of the crew involved with making the movie stayed there, but it was a neat thing to see. None of the group I was with could really understand why I was so excited to see a poster!

I am a regular reader of your blog, although I am not Catholic (yet?) you have really enhanced and challenged my spiritual life. I plan to ask Santa for the Mary trilogy for Christmas! Thanks for all you do!

Yes! We not only stayed at the Galloway House, we shot nearly all of Manalive there. I stayed in the second floor of the Carriage House (along with Ashley Ahlquist, who got the nice bed while I got the comfy air mattress in the living room), Eric and Andy got the downstairs, Joey Odendahl (director) got the right rear bedroom in the main house and Chuck, our DP, got the right front bedroom. We shot in the main house as well as around on the grounds (and a few places around Savannah and here in Washington State). One of the best months of my life! I’m very fond of Savannah. How wonderful that you got to stay there!
