Del Sydebothom is a pretty awesome name. Second of all, he writes:

Before I get to the real point of this message, I’d like to forward to your consideration this:

Also, I would like to express my how happy I would be were life more like this:

My apologies if you’ve seen these before. They seemed like the sorts of things you’d appreciate. 🙂

Now, onto business! I am working on a temporary website for my new company, The Ezra Media Project. The project itself is a labor of love that started with the book I told you about before. I want to adapt that book into the first “volume” of an epoch-spanning film project that will ultimately encompass the history of both biblical testaments, as well as the early history of Christianity. Knowing that this was my aim all along, it made sense to begin at the beginning, with Adam and Eve.

While I wrote Gan-Aeden, I tentatively retracted my hopes for a film, thinking that a graphic-novel version would be the most I could hope for. As time went on, however, and I learned more about the technology involved, my hopes for creating a film revived. Taking inspiration from the scribe-priest Ezra, whose work after the Babylonian exile restored to the Jews their long-disparaged patrimony, I named the whole endeavor after him.

The Ezra Media Project seeks to do for Christians what Ezra did for the Jews: restore unto us a living sense of our history, and to give others a sense of where we come from. I’m not Ezra, of course, so I’ve named him the patron of Ezra Media.

Right now, I’m desperate for some questions; I’m trying to put together the FAQ page on this site: I can’t expect people to support us financially if they don’t know what we’re doing. If you were going to ask one question about this project, what would it be?

If you like, you could also put in a little plug for Ezra Media on your blog as well. ;p I don’t expect you to, since you don’t know me very well, but I’d sure be on cloud nine if you did! Pax!

Anybody who loves the Improv video probably has something on the ball, so check thou out the Ezra Media Project!
