A reader writes

I ask for prayers from everyone. I know many people are hurting. I have lost my job as a copywriter in a depressed state, economically. I ask prayers first that I may learn and grow in the Lord’s wisdom. I ask that Our Lady intercede for me and my family. I ask that I obtain the grace to make do and reject my wordly plans in place of his.

Father, hear our prayer through Jesus Christ your Son! Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him and for all who are struggling during this depressed economy. Help us to remember your blessing on the poor and to seek you especially during such times.
