As you might expect…

…after making ill-advised remarks that drew the fire of both the local ordinary at Medugorje *and* the cardinalspeak rebukes of another cardinal *and* the brief visit to the woodshed with the Pope, Cdl. Schonborn sends a letter, in cardinalspeak, saying “Sorry. Dumb. My bad.”

So that’s over with. Except that it isn’t since this absurd incident will be added to the lore of Medugorje true believers as still more proof of the truth that Mary is appearing at Medugorje despite the repeated rejection of that proposition by multiple local ordinaries.

It’s gonna be tough when this thing is never approved by the Church. That’s why were told not to “run ahead of” any more than to lag behind the Church (2 John 9: “Any one who goes ahead and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God; he who abides in the doctrine has both the Father and the Son.”)
