A reader writes

A small request, I’d appreciate some prayers from you. A theater in New York is currently considering a play of mine for their 2011 season. So far they’ve called it “entertaining stuff”, so I am cautiously optimistic. This could work out really well for me.

No need to post this to the blog, as it is pathetically small potatoes compared to what many are going through. Though if you could ask for prayers for my wife and her family, I’d appreciate it. We’re coming up on the one year anniversary of her father’s death, and she’s still healing from that.

Keep up the good work re: torture, orthodoxy, etc.

There’s no such thing as a prayer request that is too small. Father, hear our pray for success in this venture and for healing in this woman’s heart. Grant eternal repose to the soul of her father and consolation to her family. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. Mother Mary, pray for this reader and his family.
