looks like a cool band. They were, alas, here last night and I missed them. I do feel an impulse to head up to Mount Vernon and hear them Friday night. Can’t go wrong with Cajun.
Anybody here familiar with Natalie MacMaster? She’s a fiddler from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and shares (surprisingly) similar musical roots (since the Cajun originated in Canada and brought their musical traditions down to Louisiana).
Anyway, she rocks, in case you didn’t know. Years ago, I corresponded with her brother, Kevin. We swapped my books for her CDs (signed). Yes, I *am* a fanboy, thankyouveddymuch!
