A reader writes:

I am hoping that you will pray for my husband to find employment in our area. I’m hoping that you’ll pass along this request to your other blog readers. My husband found out today that he has only 30 days left in his job. We have four children at home, and are settled in a wonderful parish and Catholic school here. We will, of course, go where he can find work, but right now I’m dreading the upheaval that will come with a move.

Eight years ago we endured this same cross when the technology bubble burst. I learned then that we could survive, and many good things happened as a result of that experience, namely my husband’s conversion two years ago. I am praying that we can accept God’s will for our family, and that we have the grace to support one another during this stressful time.

Father, please grant that children can quickly find the provision they need through your Son Jesus Christ. Thank you for your blessings even in times of cross-bearing. Grant that through your children’s humble willingness to do your will, they will find the provision that they need. Mother Mary, pray for them. St. Joseph, pray that this man will find the work he needs at the pay he needs.
