Kohl’s Department Stores plans to give half a million dollars to 20 schools this year – a total of $10 million. Our Lady of the Presentation School, in Lee’s Summit and Pius X High School in Lincoln, Nebraska have made significant efforts and need your help.

Inspired by the company’s 10th anniversary, the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic initiative for children’s health and education asks schools to dream big about what they could do with a half a million dollars. The contest gives Facebook fans 20 votes to express support for how a school will use the money. Each person can vote up to five times for a particular school. Let’s keep the schools in the top 20.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Go to http://www.facebook.com/kohls
2. Vote five times for Our Lady of the Presentation School, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
3. Vote five times for Pius X High School in Lincoln, Nebraska
4. Encourage family and friends to vote.
5. Complete these steps before September 3.
