A reader asks for prayer for his father who has cancer and for difficulties with his job situation.
Another reader writes:
If I could ask for a prayer…
My dad has been terribly ill – hosp’d 3 times in the last 2 weeks and was very close to dying – my three sons and I are road tripping from Kentucky to Washington State (halfway there now)…I could sure use an Ave for a safe and holy trip.
Another reader writes:
My husbands father suffered a stroke last week and remained in stable condition until last night. last night he took a turn for the worse (sepsis, organ failure) and it doesn’t look good.
There has been much pain in his past with my husbands family and even now his brothers will not speak to him. He is also not a practicing Christian. He needs so many prayers now, if you could help us get the word out.
Another reader writes:
I need some help. I have a friend who had her first baby on August 24, 2010. An hour after he was born at home, James was rushed to the hospital in respiratory distress. To make a long story short, he’s suffering from a rare heart condition called TAPVR (total anomalous pulmonary venous return). Basically, his oxygenated blood is mixing with his non-oxygenated blood. Without surgery, he would’ve died.
He’s had surgery and recovering well, but he continues to hit bumps in the road. He’s having a really difficult time nursing and he’s today encountered another difficulty (I’m not sure what it is) and he still can’t come home. Could you please help him by posting a prayer request for James? I just want this little boy to come home and truly start to recover from his very rough start in life.
Father, hear each of these people’s prayers and answer them in your love with answers tailored to their specific needs in Christ Jesus. Mother Mary, pray for them!
