Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Please pray for the husband of a friend. He has been diagnosed with a recurrence of colon cancer, along with some other related problems. Doctors are hoping the cancer can be “contained” by chemo and radiation, but they are saying it can’t be cured. So he and his wife are praying for a miracle, particularly invoking the intercession of John Paul II. He is only in his mid-40’s, and he has 3 small children, ages 4, 3, and 1.

Father, hear our prayer for a miracle of healing through Jesus Christ. Grant grace and strength to this man and his family and hold them all in the palm of your hand. Mother Mary and Pope John Paul, pray for them!
