Update: Ha! In a fitting punishment for hubris, it turns out I’m wrong. Or, at any rate, that I’m right about something different than what the conservative PAC is worried about. They’re mad at Brown for voting for a nuke reduction treaty with Russia (cuz we need to maintain the ability to destroy the world six times and not merely four). So the issue is not abortion (cuz the Thing that Used to Be Conservatism doesn’t care about abortion, which is why Brown is a senator) but our policy of welfare for defense contractors, a matter very near and dear to the heart of the Thing that Used to Be Conservatism. I stand corrected.
