The President who has no problem voting himself the power to murder anybody he deems an enemy of the state also, it turns out, has no problem voting himself the power of life and death over weak people.

Our compliant media is fine with that, of course. They are in business to sell beer and shampoo, not to make like difficult with the rich and powerful.

And I do mean *all* the media, both left and right.

Update: Several readers are taking issue with my take on the article and I’m willing to acknowledge I’m reading too much into this. My apologies for being overly paranoid. When I see phrases like “end of life planning” in the same paragraph with the State or the government, I assume the worst. My readers persuade me I’m wrong.
