attempt to chew over the problem of lying for Jesus. Shorter version: I’m agin’ it. Though I can certainly cut a lot of slack to people in a pinch who are doing the best they can in desperate circumstances (the proverbial Dutch hider of Jews) and would likely do the same, I think the attempt to make lying for Jesus (aka “consequentialism”) a central pillar of the prolife movement is a catastrophically bad idea that will only end in tears, whatever short term benefits it reaps.
I hope this tome will atone for my lack of blogging of late.
