Everybody else averts their eyes lest they make eye contact with the editor or his hapless victim. “Great!” says the editor. “You have the religion beat. Only, don’t go native on me.” “Don’t worry,” says the new recruit.

And so you wind up with farragoes of ignorant nonsense like this.
