She writes regarding Vatican Insider’s recent piece on “34 Thousand Catholics More Each Day”
I felt I had to provide a little fact checking and interpretation.
There are two basic problems: 1) the numbers are wrong and 2) in any case, the numbers don’t mean what VI apparently thinks they mean. Because there are tens of thousands more Catholics every day but that still isn’t good news.
Reality is a harsh mistress.
