Speaking of our Despicable Ruling Class…

…our defenders of freedom, fresh from recently scheming to rob veterans of their benefits, are now laboring to make sure that they themselves can better do the insider trading that has made them such successful profiteers from their office.

I repeat: in my perfect world, every member of our Ruling Class would be deprived of the right to make any income at all beyond their salary of elected office. Any attempt to add to that income by any means during the term of office would result in a 20 year prison sentence.

In addition, I think a draconian tax which deprives our Ruling Classes of all monies made during their term of office and gives it to a fund for injured and disabled and homeless vets sounds pretty good. The riff raff of our elected class would flee DC overnight and then we could hold new elections in which only honest people would apply since there would no longer be a graft generation engine functioning in DC.

Yes. I realize it’s an unrealistic pipe dream. But it’s still fun to think about.
