Arguments which proceed “God would never notice humans because of their insignificant size” are rubbish. God notices us neither because of our impressive size nor our dazzling virtue, but because he is love. In our condition, it was the divine pity, not our wonderfulness, that drew his attention. We kill the weak. He died for them. indeed, he was murdered by them. And they are us.
