Catholic Charities sticks with the bishops

This is good news! Despite the declarations of victory the Administration from the usual suspects in the media and on the Catholic left, this fight is far from over. It ain’t just Dubya who can be premature in strutting the flight deck under the “Mission Accomplished” banner.

The weapons of our warfare will be prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Political action is also prudent, of course. But our strength is in the Lord who made heaven and earth, not in the angry power struggles of man.
