Turns out courts of law actually require facts and not just sound bites and a blizzard of rapid television images to establish a case that the Pope covered up abuse. So: the lawsuit has tanked.

Not that you’ll see it in any mainstream medium, since “Pope exonerated” does not sell beer and shampoo. Still, this is a classic quote:
