Harold Camping admits he was wrong about his two failed end time predictions.
This makes him several hundred times more humble and honest than the neocons who insisted the war in Iraq would be a cakewalk or the Marxists who confidently foretold the withering away of the state or the advocates of contraception who foretold a reduction in abortion or the advocates of abortion who confidently declared it would never lead to euthanasia.
The difference is that Camping is responsible for nobody’s death. He’s just an old guy who made a bad call about something that he can neither hurry no delay. No harm done and no hard feelings.
