Prayer Requests

A fellow parishioner writes on behalf of our beloved Fr. Daniel Syverstad, who is bedridden with back agony:

Please pray for Fr. Daniel. He may have another back surgery (vertebral fusion.) Fr. Gus asked last night that we pray that Fr. Daniel follows his Doctor’s instructions 🙂 They will keep us updated on his progress.

Father, grant him swift and complete healing, as well as wisdom, skill and compassion for his caregivers. Mother Mary, pray for him. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Another reader writes:

My coworker’s niece is very young and pregnant with twins. Some of her family members are suggesting abortion as an alternative. Please pray that she will make the right decision and pray that she receives the help and counsel she needs to save the lives of her children.

Father, hear our prayer! Mother Mary, pray for all concerned here. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord.
